SCMP Student of the year 2018/2019 (Best Devotion to School)

Our S6 student, Yu Man Ying Natalie, received the Student of the Year - Best Devotion to School prize. This prize is intended for students whose service to their school has inspired appreciation and respect from their teachers and fellow students.

Natalie is determined to change wasteful consumption habits. Of the many green campaigns she has involved, installing an energy monitoring system, with funding she won from a competition, and encouraging students to complete to consume least. This project  has changed habits and saved the school many thousands of dollars in electricity charges. She was also behind the effort that successfully broke a Guinness World Record for generating the most electricity by pedalling bicycles.
